Young Jazz Talent Gent

The tradition of Young Jazz Talent remains alive and well thanks to Gent Jazz. The festival uses the competition to invest in the development of young jazz musicians from all corners of the country and offers talented individuals a helping hand on the way to realising their dream projects. In 2023 aki was crowned the winner. The phenomenal jazz collective is therefore opening the main stage at Gent Jazz on 11 July. On the same day, the 2024 winner will be announced.

Young Jazz Talents can register until 15 May via the website vi.be. Young Jazz Talent Gent is an organisation of Gent Jazz, with the support of Brouwerij Omer Vander Ghinste, Sabam For Culture, vi.be, Ha Concerts and PlayRight.
