Naima Joris & Vitja Pauwels are two Huge Talents in the Belgian music scene. She made her début in 2021 with an unparalleled self-titled EP on which the loss of a loved one takes different forms; he loves to experiment with guitar sounds and electronics - on his own and also in Bombataz, Early Life Forms or Woolvs - and is considered to be a stronghold in avant-garde and improvisation. The meeting between the two takes Joris back to basics and, along with Pauwels, she dives into the essence of where it all began. The two put their specific stamp on well-known southern European traditionals, French chansons and English-language numbers, turning them into songs that are almost their own, leaving no one unmoved.
