  • Security and bag policy

Gent Jazz is a celebration for everyone, regardless of gender, identity, orientation, culture, religion, ethnicity, or disability.

The safety of our festivalgoers, artists and their crew, staff, and local residents is our top priority. That’s why we’ve developed a robust safety policy. In recent months and weeks, we’ve worked closely with local and federal police, as well as city and provincial authorities. This has led to a clear set of guidelines for Gent Jazz 2024 on what is and isn’t allowed on the festival grounds.

We’re doing everything we can to ensure that security checks run smoothly. Thank you in advance for your understanding, for cooperating during checks, for going the extra mile, and for staying alert and vigilant.
