What is the minimum age to work at Gent Jazz?

Due to the responsibilities and hard work involved in a student job, the minimum age is set at 18 years. This ensures that you are able to handle your tasks independently and professionally.
What is the hourly wage?

The hourly wage is legally determined and depends on your age. It ranges between €11 and €12.40. Wages are paid weekly for the hours worked in the previous week.
How many hours per day do I have to work?

Shifts last approximately 8 hours, but due to the festival setting, we count on your flexibility. Sometimes you may finish earlier, other days you may be asked to work a bit longer. You will, of course, be paid for all the hours you work.
What tasks will I have to perform?
Tasks vary by team, but we are looking for students who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves: Helping with the setup and breakdown of the site, welcoming visitors, logistical support, etc., are just some of the tasks. We are looking for students who are flexible and stress-resistant, as organizing a festival always brings a bit of unpredictability. Note: We are not looking for bar staff.
Is catering provided?

Yes, each shift includes a meal! Lunch or dinner, depending on your start time.
