The story of Asaf Avidan begins in 2006 with Asaf Avidan & The Mojos. His first band became a folk phenomenon in his home country, but in 2011 the group decided to throw in the towel. But everything changed when Berlin DJ Wankelmut remixed one of the band's songs a year later. That song, "One Day / Reckoning Song”, became a global hit and catapulted Avidan into the international spotlight. He continued as a solo artist and with "Different Pulses” (2013) he silenced audiences worldwide with his raw musical approach, poignant lyrics and soulful voice that sounds both supernatural and human at the same time.

More than ten years later, Avidan is still producing countless beautiful gems. Proof of this can be found on his latest album, "Unfurl”. With this album - and his old hits under his belt - he is once again touring the world. After an engaging performance at the Royal Circus in Brussels, he is now bringing his charismatic storytelling and multi-instrumental talent to the enchanting setting of De Bijloke.
