The Berlin-based Moses Yoofee Trio has emerged as one of the most exciting new voices at the intersection of hip-hop and jazz. Led by pianist Moses Yoofee alongside bassist Roman Klobe and drummer Noah Fürbringer, the trio operates as a tightly connected collective with improvisation at the heart of its creative process. What begins as long jam sessions — playful, raw, and deeply intuitive — is gradually refined and reshaped at their trendy Neukölln rehearsal space into meticulously crafted compositions, where Afrobeat rhythms collide with expressive jazz piano and heavy breakbeats.
