German composer and producer Niklas Paschburg effortlessly navigates between neoclassical, ambient and electronica. With piano, accordion and synths, he creates a sound landscape which is intimate and introspective, as well as broad and compelling. Since his début 'Oceanic’ (2018), followed by 'Svalbard’ (2020) and 'Panta Rhei’ (2023), he has developed into a permanent feature in the international neoclassical scene. His hybrid style, which blends echoes of the classic masters such as Debussy, Satie and Bach with ambient experiments and electronic textures, have led to collaborations with artists including RY X, Asgeir, Nils Hoffmann and Dobrawa Czocher. In 2025, he is coming to the Bijlokesite with his new work, recorded in Mexico, which he will perform live in a brand new show. Famous concert halls, abandoned churches, pumping clubs or packed festival tents: Paschburg can set the right tone no matter the venue.
